Pastel 2009 was released long before both operating systems, information regarding the compatibility has been confirmed by Sage Pastel International. They have performed tests on both operating systems and have concluded that:
For Windows 7: A new build (Build 10.2.4 update or later) is compatible with Windows 7.
For Small Business Server 2008 The package will need to upgrade to new Pervasive V10 release in order to run the program.
You
would need to install Pastel Partner 2009 build 10.2.4 with Pervasive V10 on all
the machines for your client to operate smoothly.
